God Loves The Worst Version of You

The better we look on the outside, the easier it is for us to think that we have somehow earned the love of God. It’s just not true. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” God loved us at our very worst state. Finding salvation is not about us being more righteous on our own. It’s about us taking on the righteousness of God through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
