Dive into the Word with me in my first online Bible study as I discuss Pride vs Humility. In this video session and study guide, I look at pride from a unique angle as I discuss how Biblical humility can help us replace a law mindset with a grace focus. Find out what God thinks about pride and about the life-changing benefits that come with living in humility.

thanks dude!
Troy, I read your book MY MESS, and I just wanted to thank you for writing a book that is so easy to understand. It made me realize my god was mostly an emergency God. Now I ask him for help in almost everything I do.. Event the smallest of tasks. I am still struggling sometimes with feeling worthy of his gift. He has blessed me by awnsering my prayers many times, yet I feel I don’t give him enough in return. I pray now that he will led me to joy and more understanding. Your videos are are very good as well, I’ve been telling friends and family to watch. Thanks again Troy. Your friend , Mark Worm
Mark, thank you for your encouraging comment. If you feel like you aren’t doing enough for the Lord, the truth is that none of us can ever repay Him for what He has done. You are never going to get to the point where your work for Him evens out with what He’s done for you. As believers, we will always have a huge reason to live with gratitude. However, the more you allow His love to fill your heart, the more it will also pour out to those around you. 1 John 4:19 says, “We love, because He first loved us.” The more that we fellowship with Him and allow Him to change us, the more He will use us to reach others with the gospel and with the love of God. Don’t let guilt or condemnation motivate you. Romans 8:1 says, “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Let the love of God be your motivation instead. God bless.
