Hi, Troy,
I just listened to this online, and felt confirmation on many points of things the Lord has been showing me or speaking to me (for example, last weekend I was on a walk and ended up watching some young people at length who were practicing racing sailboats in a really stiff wind… so the word you shared about our sails being ready for the coming wind resonated deeply).
I am wondering if this fits in with what you are sensing: when you shared about the question “What do tulips have to do with Thanksgiving”, I understood you had tulips in your thoughts, but I also simultaneously heard it as “What do two lips have to do with Thanksgiving?” (Which makes me think of Jeremiah and the almond branch.) Then I had in my thoughts the phrase “the fruit of lips” which led me to Hebrews 13:14-15:
“For here we do not have a permanent city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that confess His name.”
Verse 16 seems to be a lot like what I was hearing you say about the way we his people are to be allocating our resources:
“And do not neglect to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

Hi Troy,
Just an encouraging word for you, that you have helped me change my life and live so much more for Jesus. You always explain that we should follow up and make sure you are speaking a true word from God, but when you speak, I feel the Holy Spirit, so I never have to check it.
