There are many verses in the Bible about hope, and in this video I read and talk about several that I believe point to our greatest hope—redemption through the blood of Jesus. Because God sent His Son to die for us, we can repent and receive forgiveness. When we take on the righteousness of God through Christ, our eternity is secure in Him. Although, even with eternity in mind, it can be hard for us as Christians to be filled with hope every day. I believe God has given us truth in His Word that can give us hope for eternity and for now.
5 Verses in Romans about Hope
Romans 8:24
“For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?”
Romans 8:18
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
Romans 8:37-39
“But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:1
“Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Romans 5:5
“And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
Thank you. As a minister’s wife in a small struggling Church I have needed to hear this remembrance that you gave me today
